I have been going through some dark days lately ... Just lost my Mother .... Sitting peacefully and playing my ACNL and cruising around this forum has really helped me with something pleasant to do .... So I am happily wasting time on ACNL too ♥♥♥

(((HUGS))) I'm so very sorry! I do know what it is like to lose a parent (my dad has been gone for 19 years and sometimes it still feels like yesterday) and I recently lost my dear mother-in-law. Now my brother-in-law has terminal cancer and days are very dark indeed. I am in the "over 45 club!) if there is one and I happily play whenever I can. My play time is sporadic, but it really helps me to relax and forget the sadness sometimes.

If I can ever do anything for you, please ask! Or if you just want to talk... <3

For everyone, at first I thought this thread was about cleaning up a messy town... heh... I suppose it's because my Main Town is practically covered every inch by unorderables and tons of bush starts, trees, and a few hybrids. I really am working hard to remake it into something decent, but it's hard to when there is so much c*ap lying around.

Hells bells, my and my husband's basement house (my aunt has the rest of the house...URGH...) is neater than my town!

Same , I wish the shops were open though, or at least Able's. I love designing pro clothing and it would be cool to make things at night.

I very briefly considered changing my town to night owl status but then I remembered the huge number of hybrids I've planted. I would have to spend two hours a day on watering alone! I do think they should let you do pro-designs at night. It's pretty cool that you design your own clothes. I was obscenely proud of myself just for my custom town flag and woefully simple sleeveless sweater.

I am truly sorry to hear that you're going through such a difficult experience. I'm fortunate in that both of my parents are in good health, but I recently lost an uncle with whom I was quite close. I'm glad you've found something to do to distract yourself.

Yeah lol. I work freelance so luckily I get to choose my own schedule to waste time on!

Which almost always means eating, sleeping, eating more, playing video games, internet, tumblr, eating.

I get all my house work done in the morning. I have a plan that I follow each week which makes it a whole lot easier for me
I basically assign each day of the week to one room and do all the chores required for that one room. Each room is cleaned from top to bottom and because its done each week, the cleaning gets easier and easier. I then to do the everyday jobs such as hoovering, sweeping, washing and toilet etc and then thats the work done for the day. I takes me a max of one hour, sometimes 30 minutes, and I have the rest of the day to myself and my little girl

I too am going through a lot at the moment and have found that ACNL or a good book takes me away from it. The game is just so relaxing <3

This is my problem as well, so many flowers to water I can't turn off beautiful town ordinance. Aw thanks, I made my town flag as well I love seeing different people's designs .
