I want to consider starting a Cycling Town, but.. (I need advice & tips from cyclers)

As the title says, I'm seriously considering making my brand new side town a villager cycling town. However; I had another town before this one, on the same cartridge (my 2nd cartridge), and I TT'd a lot and experimented like crazy. I introduced myself to all the villagers, and I skipped so much time, from years at a time, to weeks, to even day by day at a time, yet NO villager EVER pinged me about moving. So I'm curious how the process of cycling works, and what your advice would be on it. All help is appreciated, thank you.

i use the 2 day forward and 2 day back method. its only failed me a couple of times but usually its because the villager doesn't ping me and says they didn't know the right time to tell me. if you have any other questions feel free to ask :3

I suggest you do the 2 years, 5 days trick.

On a day a villager is moving out, TT one year, log on, and then log off.

TT another year, log on, and then log off.

Finally, TT 5 days. When you log in, Isabelle will tell you someone is moving.

i don't use that one because i have dreamies and that ones only for if you don't want to keep any villagers right?

That's correct. Don't use it if you have your own dreamies in your cycling town.
