I finally upgraded to an XL! I've been meaning to for a while but then didn't play so much. I've been wanting to focus on making my town really nice, and the XL feels so much more immersive.
Im thinking of some games to play on it. Maybe Harvest Moon: A new beginning, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and a Link Between Worlds? Has anyone ever played these and would like to share their thoughts?
Also thinking of Pokemon X or Y but have never played any Pokemon before. I really love open world RPG type games so if anyone has any to recommend that would be good.
Link Between Worlds was fantastic! I would definitely recommend! I haven't played it personally but I hear a lot of people talk about Bravely Default (I was gonna get it myself but I don't have time with all the AC I play, lol). Congrats on getting an XL though, I'm jealous
In all seriousness, it's a pretty good game in terms of the Scarescraper. The story play, not so much. :X Harvest Moon is pretty fun as well though. <3
I played HM:ANB and I really enjoyed it. If you're a fan of HM games in general, I think you'll like this one. It has a couple of annoyances, but that didn't stop me from loving it. Unfortunately, multiplayer can be a little slow sometimes, especially since the newest HM just came out in Japan.
Harvest Moon: ANB is a good game, but it can get boring after a while. It's good while it lasted!
Fire Emblem: Awakening is also a good game and has high replay value.
I also recommend Rune Factory 4, though it's not an open-world game. There's also farming, monster-fighting, crafting, holidays, and pursuing a love interest as well. It also has its comedic, sweet, and sad moments. ^^
