I think im addicted to cycling villagers (send help)

Do you have any tips of what should I do? I have my 5-6 dreamies that I love and rest of the spots are somewhat open for others to come and go. But god damn, I cycle almost every week because after 2-3 days of normal time I already get bored of that villager and want someone new. rinse and repeat. D:

For some reason, ever since it clicked in my mind that villagers are reskins of same personality/dialogue, I can't get attached to any invites from islands! Any tips how to get attached to these pixels? (if the villager is not a dreamie).

I actually don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. Eventually, you might pick someone up that you do fall in love with, and the likelihood of finding that villager is increased if you cycle more.

But that point aside, maybe make it a goal to get their villager photo before you let them go?

I cycle out villagers too but I get their pictures first before letting them leave

The best way honestly is to just let them stay and give yourself more time to bond with your villagers. I have 3 crankies and 3 smugs and even though they're all pretty much the same (save hobbies) I love them all!

If you cycle so often, they might not have been on your island long enough to leave an impression. I'd try bonding up with them to get their picture first before deciding if you want them to leave or not!
