It seems that whenever I see someone complain about a game and it's technical flaws, the only thing that comes to my mind is that they are being a little bit ungrateful. Whenever I hear complaints about a game having slow down/bad frame rate, a bad camera, glitches or even bad graphics and/or animation(s), I say "Well, it could have been way worse". Whenever I play a game, I look for creativity "and/or" entertainment. The only complaints I may listen to is if a game is too short and/or too easy and/or isn't fun or creative to begin with. However, to be honest, even after all of that, I might not even listen to the complaints. If "I" know that "I" will have fun playing it, I don't listen to any criticism that is contrary to what I feel.
For example, I like Sonic 06. Some complained about the story not following anything in the series and just not making sense as a whole, but I really didn't care because I didn't get or play it for the story (In fact, I got this in a bargain bundle pack that had three games for around like $30 or less and it happened to be one of the games in the bundle), I played it for overall entertainment. Also, some found the game to be glitchy (which is very true), but I actually found the unstableness of the game to be kind of fun because there was so much you can do to the game that was not intended. I also heard complaints about slowdown but it didn't bother me at all. The only complaint I really can get are the loading screens, but only to an extent. I only found the loading screens to be annoying with missions, especially if you keep messing up on them and have to keep trying them again. Overall, I found the gameplay to be fun and interesting for silver, shadow and sonic.
Another example is the Family Party 30 Great Games series. I have heard that the minigames are unoriginal and all of the games are just waggle. I have played the first three games in the series and they are very fun in my opinion. Although it is true that most of the minigames are waggle games, but they used it in a way that is actually creative and fun in my opinion. Also, not all of the minigames were unoriginal but very few are original anyway so that's not saying much.
Yeah, I think I am just a person who is more lenient on the quality of video games than most gamers. What do you think? Do you feel the same way as me?
