I really really want an ACNL version for my wiiu!!!!

Hello everyone an thank you for reading my thread...

So I have fallen head over heels for ACNL on my 3ds!!! I truly think that this game has moved past even earthBound a star my all time favorite game EVER!!
I've wondered though, Nintendo sees and knows that ACNL in particular out of ALL the AC titles she has done amazingly well...
So I ask you..,when will we have a new version but for the WII U?!?!?! I mean seriously...let's be honest...the WIIU has superseeded the WII on every level...isn't it time to make an AC game for it???
I can't possibly be the only one who feels this way??

No chance for there to be an AC game on the Wii U. It is basically dead for games now. Your best choice to look forward to a new AC game is either the Switch or Mobile. Those systems look like they are gonna get a new AC game anytime soon. As for the 3DS, might not be a new one since the update but who knows? o/

I was looking forward fot this game ever si ce the Wii u was announced, and so far no luck ��, and with the release of the new console Nintendo Switch I think they will go this way to start a new Animal crossing game, also they will release the app game for mobile phones so I think that could be related with a new Animal crossing game for console too!!
But unfortunately I donn't think Wii u will be getting an AC games besides the amiibo festival fiasco!! But who knows!!!

With the Nintendo Switch coming out next month, I doubt we'll see a real AC game on the WiiU at this point. But I'm sure we'll definitely see one on the Switch in another year or so, and I'll bet it's going to be even better than New Leaf.

Also, would AC:NL Amiibo count as a new game? Not an update? Because I was on a website showing all AC games over the years, and the most recent one was released Dec. 1 2016, AC:NL Amiibo. Not sure if it counts as another game or just an update.

I asked my friends and they said it counted as another game.

As far as the Wii U goes, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be the last major release.

I would consider Welcome Amiibo to be a new game and update. While players can just update their existing copy of New Leaf, other players can buy a physical or digital copy of New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo.
