The best way to earn money is catching sharks or beetles on the island. You can also grow perfect fruit and sell them in other people's towns for 3000 each!

But I agree with Mairen: My favorite way to make money is to catch the island bugs between midnight and 6AM. Many sell for 10k bells or more each.
