nice! i would put the campsite somewhere isolated, then it looks authentic, like maybe (if your not keeping that villager) right next to the waterfall on the bottom right, or anywhere out of the way. For the cafe, i think next to the town hall to the right would look nice, or on the to left next to that little pond. and then the police station would look nice in either of the places i suggested for the cafe!

Thanks for all the ideas! I was originally thinking that the campsite would look super cute near the pond in the upper left bit of town. I really like the suggestion to put the police station to the right of town hall, but I'm still a little torn on where to put the cafe. Somewhere in the south sounds nice, but I kind of like my little island where my house is left alone... ahh, I'm so torn.
My native fruit are peaches and my current villagers are Avery, Kiki, Felicity, Bud, Drake, Renee and Tex is moving in today!

Hey, our maps are the same but flipped! I would put the police station to the right of the town hall, to make it a sort of town square place.

Hmmm, I'd agree to put the police station by the town hall. With my last game, that's where I had it. Now, where to put the campsite...I feel like the top left area that has nothing would totally work! It's out in the open and "away from civilization"!
If you don't put the tent there, you could always put it in the empty spot to the right of the slope to the boat. I would love to camp next to the view of an ocean, personally. Though, this wouldn't happen, it'd be lovely to imagine a visitor having easy access to the beach to swim/pick sea shells/fish. I usually imagine stuff for my town in order to keep things even more interesting for me
