If anyone has Katrina in their village right now I'm willing to pay a decent price (in game bells only) if you'll let me visit and talk to her. I want to get the fortune shop project and I need to have my fortune told by her 18 more times.

You need to get your fortune told by Katrina in your OWN town for it to work. It only counts if you do it in your own town.
WHat I suggest is when shes in town, make 18 characters, once you sell a fruit or get the money from main mayor, get fortune told. Easy <3

Well they are wrong. It only works in your town.
Here's a little blip from the "Debunking Katrina" thread
"You can still get Katrina in a day, however. If you create and delete a character 19 times (getting their fortune told each time) and then go do the 20th time on your mayor, you will get the project request. This is the fastest way to unlock it--otherwise, you just need to wait on the randomness."
