HP Compaq dc7100 Converitble Mini Tower with 1.50 GB RAM + Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family Video Card with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

Looking for an ATI Radeon seeing as I heard they were cheaper then nVidia, but I will get nVidia, seeing as i've heard of more people having it.

Any recommandations for a video card?

Oh, ~3.4GHz Intel Pentium 4

nVidia is the best choice. My dad has a somewhat recent (2005) ATI Radeon Graphics Card, but it lags a little bit in the quality while it plays some computer games.

What settings do you use exactly?

On my computer? My computer has an Intel graphics card, which are the worst kinds of graphic cards out there. On TF2? I use Windowed mode and I lower the quality on the options.

On your father's computer, and what video card does he have?

After people suggesting the ATI for me, I did some research. You get a lot more bang for your buck with ATI.

ATI Radeon, I'm not sure what brand though since it came with his computer.

A great Nvidia budget card is the 9500gt.
A great ATI Radeon budget card is the 4830

Pick either one. Just be sure it's compatible with your motherboard.

How would I make sure it's compatible?
