You shouldn't really generalise. There are Youtubers that don't do it all for the money but rather do it because they like doing it.

Critikal is a good example. Also basically any uploader that uploads **** they cant monetize, like uploading 10h extensions of soundtracks. And all small youtubers that keep making vids for the profit of 1 dollar a month are doing it for fun too.

I was mainly talking about bigger YouTubers, I forgot to mention that.
I watch Acestarthe3rd who has a small community and I'm pretty sure he does for the fun of it & his fans. c:
Smosh is an example of youtubers who put effort into there skits e.t.c I'm not a fan and I can see how they stick to what their known for.
People like Shane Dawson, Taylor Oakley, Zoella and all the other mainstream YouTubers only do it for the money, its a shame about Shane he has lost his passion, I've been with him since 2008 and its sad that he has lost his passion, he treats it like a job now...;o;
