I was in the process of cycling a villager out of my town and TT'd one year forward. I was supposed to TT back to the current year before loading my mayor but I forgot (method I made up, long story ...) and I accidentally voided my precious Cherry ;A;

I have another 3DS and another copy of ACNL, w/ 9 villagers, would it be possible to send her there? The only other villager I've voided was Aurora, which was also by accident but she wasn't a dreamie so w/e so technically my void isn't cleared yet because she wasn't adopted??? How many villagers can you have in the void? If I visit my cycle town, what are the chances that Cherry will move there? AND extra question, how do you clear the void?

Im sorry for all the questions, I love my Cherry as much as I love my pet cat and I would appreciate any help.. I want to save her from the void :c

I think it's possible, if she's the last villager you voided, that she would show up in your other town, if you were to visit it and it had less than 10 villagers...
I also think to clear your void, you have to visit a town that has 10 villagers.
I'm sorry that you accidentally voided her. Hopefully, you can get her back!

so after visiting a town w/ 10 villagers, it's all clear? would that said town have this voided villager in their own void (and they would have to clear it out) or does this voided villager entirely disappear?
thank you <3

If you visit a town with 10 villagers with a voided villager they will still be in the wifi space.

How do I know this?

My cycling partner had some hamster. Oh clay is his name. She voided him and visited her other town with 10 villagers to clear her void. I wified both towns while moving items and clay ended up moving there. They will still be in your wifi void until you void another villager.

ALSO IMPORTANT TO KNOW.

IF you wifi party with more than 1 person, and you voided a villager on a FULL TOWN. That villager can move between wifi voids if you know what I mean.

So while visiting another town does "clear" your void that villager has the chance to move onto someone else's void.

Also yes. You can move Cherry into your other town as long as you do not have 10 villagers in your second town.

Visit that town, then have the other mayor visit you, just to be safe.

This happened to me when I had a fave villager.

ALSO some advice. If Cherry was your 10th villager or 9th and you would like to cycle her back into your main town. It would me much easier to also move out 1-2 more villagers.

This way you can cycle faster.

I also forgot to mention in my Clay post. Both of my cycling partners' towns had Clay previously so I ended up with him. After that who knows what happened to him...

I believe so.
I think if you've voided a villager and visit a town with 10 villagers, the villager that you voided would just completely disappear into oblivion, but if they only have 9 or 8, the last voided villager will move into the town that you visited, and they're last voided villager could move into your town, if you have less than 10 villagers....I think...
I am not 100% sure on this, because I'm pretty safe, and I don't generally visit towns or vice versa. So, I haven't tested this out or done much research on it..

Oh, wow. So much stuff I don't know, lol.
Thank you, Satani.

ah okie, thank you both for your advices and information <3
i think i can be assured that my Cherry will be safe, and if not, it's ok >~<
it's just that Cherry's been in my town for such a long time that she's hard for me to let go, but i think im over reacting :c

Yes, you can try to get Cherry from the void into your other town. It may take multiple attempts, though, since I think there's only a chance that she'll move in and it's not guaranteed. If you want to invite her back to your town, you need to cycle through 16 villagers first.

I've read before that you can have multiple villagers in your void but I can't confirm that by myself. I think the safest way to do it would be to visit your other town, plot reset to see which villager it was, and then visit your other town again (before that villager plots. You can save the game as a new character if you don't find a plot and that will buy you extra time) if it's not the one you want.

If that doesn't work, you can also try to get some cyclers to help you out.

People used to say that you can clear the void by visiting someone with a full town because that villager would try to move in and be unable to do that, but there have been several posts since then talking about how it's impossible and reports that it doesn't work.

By the way, I think I know the method you're talking about, there was a post on TBT about it that is pretty old and it's also the one I use.

It turns out that my cycle town was expecting a villager from the void so i didnt have space for Cherry there ;-; i totally forgot about my 3rd town though, but eventually I got her to move there instead!

The method I was talking about included TTing 5 days forward, then checking to see who's moving by making it the next year by making a new save file. Once i see who's moving, i just quit the game and TT back to the current year and load my mayor....but i forgot to TT back >~<

I guess Fuchsia can take her spot as an Uchi in my town for now until I finish with the 16 villager cycle :/ thank you for your reply, Hypno KK <3
