I just got a new 3DS XL a month early for £5.00 more than the official release price

Worth it? Totally.
I got a black one. I didn't really want to get either of the special edition ones, as I don't like the colour contrast on the designs. I wanted the red one, but it's exlusive to NA only, whereas in the EU/NZ/PAL region we get the blue one instead, and I hate blue.

I broke my previous 3ds xl, so I've been using my standard 3ds the past year, and I gotta' say that updating from the small and chunky 3DS to the new 3DS xl is amazing. I'd recommend everybody who has a standard 3DS to get a new 3ds xl.

its so smooth and it opens so gracefully, instead of that "back-cracking" sound when you open the old 3DS there's only a graceful swoosh~ when opening the new 3ds xl.

I really want the Majora's Mask edition but I highly doubt they'll be restocked anywhere ;-;

I can't believe I'm even saying this but that is seriously the only edition that would make me give up my current regular Zelda edition. So if Amazon or somebody doesn't soon stock pre-orders I doubt I'll be upgrading.

This is true. I'm so accustomed to my normal XL, that when I see normal-sized ones, I squint at the screen. It never fails.
