Seeing the title I thought, "that's creepy"...and then my eyes scanned over to who made the thread...I lol'd.
I keep certain furniture pieces in my closet to gift in letters that match their themes. When I got Marina her house was a total mess..so I still have a few lovely items in my closet to send to her. I've kept a bunch of Pave extras to fill Wendy's house with as well.

do you know if you send them a piece of their original furniture will they put it in the original spot? or will they put it anywhere it fits? if so that'll be troublesome e.e

Yes, depending though. I sent Merengue her original sofa and table and she put it in the original spot, however I sent her her original sweets lamp and she placed it somewhere else, so it usually depends. :3

The villager will put it anywhere that fits, if they just "ask for something to fill their house" if they ask to replace something, then you will have to find another piece of furniture to replace the current one.
Well, before I filled my retail so animals couldn't sell anything...Merengue sold her fridge. So I sent it to her on the same day in a letter and she put it right back where it went lol...
I think it's random though. I gave marina a wardrobe and she put it in the middle of the room blocking your view. ;_;
