I have a quick question regarding the amiibo cards

Soon I'm about to get Hornsby from a super amazing cycler on this website, the problem is my main town has 10 villagers 9 of which I want to keep. But Renee refuses to move out despite my best efforts. So I was planning on putting Hornsby in my second town temporarily until she finally moves.

So my two pronged question is this:

1. I read that you can force a villager to move using the welcome amiibo cards. Does that apply to my situation or am I just gonna go to a town and ask Hornsby to move in, therefore requiring me to use my second town.

And

2. If I bring Hornsby to my second town will he eventually ask to move out?

Any clarification would be severely appreciated!

Yes, you can kick out villagers with amiibo cards, however the new villager will replace them right away so that wouldn't really work out in your situatiin.you were to put hornsby in another town, he would eventually move out, but not right away. So just wait for renee to move out i think

Thank you so much for the quick reply! That cleared so much up. So the only spot I'm still fuzzy on is in not actually getting the card, I'm just going to someone's town who has the card. Will I still be speaking to Wisp despite that or will I be talking to Hornsby in boxes ready to move? Sorry for bugging you I'm just new to all of this
