I got a DUMMY!

So I'm obsessed with glitches and beta items left over in video games, and this is one that I and my brother have known about for years.
Tonight I got on the game to check the catalog foe the name of an item that I got in Doubutsu no Mori e+, and I remembered that igloos are a thing! So I TT'ed until I got a snooty villager in my town, because they're the ones who play the card game from which you receive the DUMMY. I did encounter it once but I lost so I didn't get it. After playing for about 30 more minutes I encountered it again, and I got it!

Here's a pic of it displayed in my house (pardon the accidental bell flexing). The Japanese letters on the top spell out the word DUMMY, and it is likely that this is the only beta item that can be accessed without hacking the game. I figured I would share it with yall since most of you have prob never even seen or heard of it!


I've been wanting one for myself for years. My brother is gonna be so jealous lol

Ah, that's nice. I've known about the DUMMY for years but never got one because I never saw a need for it in my house. Still interesting how no one noticed it was an available item from igloo villagers.

Nice T. Rex skeleton by the way. Guess I'm not the only one who likes displaying fossils in their house.

The copy of Doubutsu no Mori e+ that I have is actually an ISO that I play on Dolphin. I don't have the money to buy a Japanese Gamecube and a copy of the game, but hopefully someday I will!
Although the ability to play it even on the computer is quite amazing. I love emulation programs
