I'm so upset about this. I was just making my rounds for the day and there it is...a plot for a house.
I thought a 10th villager could not move in unless you ask them to move in.

So...what is the deal? Why is this hideous bunny in my town?
I did however visit a friend's town today, could that be why? Did this disease of a rabbit latch itself onto me when I was leaving?

When you visit other peoples town and you only have 9 villagers there?s a chance that a villager that moved out of their town will move into your town.

Even if you have a campsite, you can still get villagers from spotpassing. Good luck getting rid of them :(

Or if you streetpass/spotpass someone. Hopefully, you can get rid of them in the near future.

Oh...
Well I am not going to visit anyone anymore then.
Hopefully my hippo villagers will gang up on her.

when a villager moves out of a someone's town and into the town's "villager pool" there's a chance of having anyone from the villager pool move in to whoever visits the town first

I believe there's an option in the main menu that you can turn off spotpass updates, though dunno if that includes villagers. Otherwise, the only other option is to never have your wifi on. Oh wait, you can do the campsite trick to see if you can get a villager that you want. Then, you won't have the worry about it.

You're not alone, while I was trading with a few people and I sold Freya off, I thought it might be okay to TT a bit since I don't think anyone voided a villager.
I was wrong.
I saw a plot, sitting there, with the name Violet plastered all over it.

I am not going to TT a day forward ever again if I have 9 villagers.

*ragequits*

If you TT by changing your 3DS?s clock and then make a new character for each TT before going on your main it won?t happen, that is the safe way to TT, I should make a guide, since apparently a lot of people TT using the games clock, which is very risky.

God I know! I was time travelling day by day because I am breeding hybrids.
Violet lives in my town and was one of my dream villagers. lol
I love my big purple gorilla.

I don't like doing that really because either way, I'll get Violet still. :c

True, but you would at least be able to reset for her plot then.
and you will never TT villagers out by mistake if you do it that way.
