I don't know if anyone has said this already, but I'm pretty sure that when you give a villager a perfect fruit when they asked for fruit, they will give you something you haven't catalogued yet in return.

I just set the time in my cycling town to 4am, TT to summer, went to the island and stayed there for 30 minutes for a giant stag, I got a giant stag and gave it to Wolfgang because he asked for it.
and he gave me a country guitar. A picture would of been better.
