I was browsing etsy for amibo chips the other day and stumbled upon a Raymond amibo chip. I was confused since they don't have an amibo for him out yet?? The 3 reviews it had (lol) said it works but I want to know if that's even possible. I know you can make your own amibos with a card reader thing and uploading the characters info and such to the card but can you do that if it doesn't have an amibo already? Also, if I did buy it, which I'm probably not because I'm very skeptical about it, would it corrupt my save data or would it just treat him like a regular amibo camper? Lmk what you guys think, and if I should buy it or wait until they might come out with an official amibo?

Well When it come to that is best to wait for the Official and then get a Chip with the Clone data of the Say Amibo. I Think it the best to make sure it will not damage you system data. But if the Chip data have date clone from Raymond Card data. The system will not care if a Amibo or a Amibo Card like those playing cards with chips in them.

I've experience with making my own Amiibo cards and tags before and you need info from a pre-existing Amiibo made by Nintendo so if Nintendo hasn't released it yet, it's very likely that the advertised Amiibo chip does not work. If I were you, I'd wait til the official card comes out!

I would definitely not trust it. I would be completely afraid that it would correct my saved data or something crazy, so I just wouldn’t risk it. I love my town too much to mess it up over something potentially fake!

It Worth it if the data was clone from a Fresh Data of a Aimbo at no longer being made. I Was Broke when the Aimbo i was after Came out and now i got a Job and still have it in this dark time. I Can under stand of the need for clone data on a chip on a home made card.

I don’t think it’s real and you should avoid it because Raymond doesn’t have and official amiibo card to collect and duplicate data from yet. I think it would also be worth mentioning that should should also check the profiles of the people who posted the reviews if possible. If it’s mostly from new accounts, then it’s likely that they’re sockpuppet accounts used by the seller to create fake reviews.
