So today I was really excited because I got Rudy from my friend, and he was going to put his house somewhere in my town today. On accident I loaded my main character instead of making a new one, but stopped when Isabelle said "OK, have a nice day." Then I make the new character and run around to see where his house was plotted. His house is right below Apollo's. So I close the game, open it again, and do it again. His house his still there. I feel reeeally lucky though because his house is actually in a pretty good spot already. Apollo is eventually going to move anyway and I was already thinking to create a line of villagers in that general area. I feel dumb for making that mistake, but I have to admit I'm happy, though I certainly wouldn't be if his house was in front of a bridge or some other horrible spot. I was pretty excited to start plot resetting today since I've never done it before, but I don't have to worry about doing it again for a while. Hopefully I won't make that same mistake in the future.

In my last town I was so lucky with where everyone placed their houses. I don't plot reset by the way.

Every villager that I had moved in, put their house in a great or decent place. No one crushed hybrids, or put their house right in front of or near a building or PWP. I'm grateful I got so lucky with that

Wow, that is amazing. The RNG God must love you! XD

Yay~! Congradulations! This happened to me a couple of times too :D After I convinced Beau to move in the next day I accidentally loaded up my mayor file and was sooo upset because I thought Beau would end up in a terrible spot or demolish my hybrids, but that wasn't the case at all. He placed his house in such a great spot, I was shocked yet extremely happy c: He's resides next to my train station

I have Francine and Chrissy in my secondary town. I had Chrissy before I had Francine, and when I adopted Francine, she plotted right next to Chrissy :D I felt so lucky for that placement.

Luckily this hasn't happened to me. I hope It never does, because my villagers love to place their houses in the worst spots ever. I was plot resetting fot Diane and she kept putting her house right in front of mine. When it wasn't in front of my house, it was in front of my bridge.I finally settled for a spot that wasn't great, but much better than the others.

Wow. That is lucky. It's so cute that you have them both and they are next to eachother. :)

bubblegum twins must be forever stuck together. Tis law.

I had to rush Snake's placement. On the very last attempt, he plotted in my normal pear orchard. I figured oh well tough noogs and went to do my thing. When I came back I started fixing the area he moved into and realized the pear orchard was sorta perfect for him. He looks good there. Had the same ok feeling when Flurry chose all the bad places and I finally just let her into my perfect pear grove. There was enough room for pathing and it looks nice and even in both cases.

So I don't really consider myself lucky but I definitely could have had much worse luck.

A very similar thing happened to me when Pashmina was moving in! :o

I hadn't known that new villagers from another town and the campsite move in on different days and was expecting her to plot two days later like Rudy.

When I first checked on her (by tting two days on a new character) to see if she really did make it to my town she plotted on the right side of my map where most villagers go for some reason.

I thought I would have time to plot her but then 'lo and behold the very next actual day her plot is right next to my retail!

It was really irritating at the time because she's a little too close but she was the only one of my villagers who actually moved to the left side and there was enough space for Vesta's plot next to her because I wanted them to be neighbors so it kind of worked out haha!

Nate was a void pickup, so I had no idea he was coming. It could have been soooo bad, but he plotted right in a line with 2 other villagers, in the peninsula where I like my villagers to be. I couldn't believe it! Anytime I plot reset recently, it takes me forever to get them in a good location.

When I won Molly from an auction on here I immediately set an alarm for the morning before I would of started my game to remind myself. And I did! c:
