So, one day, about 3 or 4 days ago, I couldn't play WoW. I would get to the connecting screen and then there was an error. "Unable to connect." I click on Help, and I try calling my ISP. They tell me to reset my router the first time, the next time they tell me my internet is down, which it wasn't since I could connect to websites, but not WoW.

I have had no problems up until that day with playing WoW, so I think my ISP has screwed something up. Your thoughts please?

Yell at your ISP. Often takes multiple calls before they change anything beyond the standard advice, so don't expect problems to be solved in one phonecall. I had to do something identical recently over connection speeds, your ISP controls all the routing, including the DNS. Sometimes you can deal with the connection, but the person who knows it back to front, side to side, ground to roof, that's your ISP.

Firewall doesn't affect stuff like WoW usually.

Yeah, *censored.4.1* at your ISP a lot usually gets them off their lazy asses to actually help you. As long as you don't keep getting rerouted to different people, you might pull it off.

I threatened to switch to a different ISP a long time ago and they didn't give a rats ass.

So, I called blizzard tech support yesterday. The guy had me run some tests, turn off firewalls, and update some drivers. The last thing I did was update my network card driver, tried logging in, and I got to see the servers, but I couldn't connect to any of them. So, I try again later and get the dreaded, "Unable to connect" error. So, it's my computer, right?
