I don't get it?

I dont see the problem.
I give away ALL my villagers for free, I have never sold one.
Even when I got Chrissy or Lolly I gave them. And it is always first come first serve,
because I am usually in a hurry and cannot be too picky about who I give them to because I have a lot of connection problems.

I think people complain because they want exclusivity for people with dreamy proof and whatnot.
Which is ********, because a lot of people dont have dreamy list but are still looking for certain villagers and some people just put any villager they suddenly want as a dreamy.

Yeah it seems no matter how you you give or sell a villager, somehow the seller ends up being the bad guy I do a lot of giveaways but I do them privately now. In the past a simple giveaway always ended up making the giver a bad guy in one way or another. A few of my friends were a tacked for doing giveaways as well. It's very sad
I gave this villager away not long ago and a few days ago I saw the the person trying to sell her for the most he could get. I know it's his villager now but its just sad be I gave them said villager and you would think even if they put them in boxes by accident they would give her away but might be just me. See a lot of cyclers come and go because some people are just so rude

Don't worry, giving away villagers is a lovely thing to do. I think passing on villagers to other people's towns is a lovely aspect of the game, and never really liked the money coming into it. Like, to get a 'popular' villager is just luck really - why should you try and make money out of it? It's not something I'd get into myself.

I always give away villagers, too. I also do first come first serve just because I also don't want a rush or feel pressured about the entire thing. That goes for whether the villager I am giving away is "1st tier" or "bottom tier." I had no idea some people were bitter about us giving away villagers. Ugh.

Newsflash! Life isn't fair. And it's your choice to give a villager to whomever, however you please. I think this person wanted the villager and felt some sort of self-entitlement. They can blow off.
