I didn’t realize (wedding event spoiler)

At some point in the event Reese specifically requested that I added guests in. I didn’t realize that these would get their own Reese & Cyrus Photo Plate and display them in their homes.

It’s cute a touch but I was really taken aback when I saw it displayed in Mott’s home because it doesn’t match his decor at all. I think it would be weird in general to have a wedding pictures of someone else displayed in your home.

Doesn’t super bother me because the item is cute but figured I’d tell you guys in case you care about 100% original homes

My Mott also has the plate displayed in his house. I'm not really into villager home aesthetics, so it doesn't bother me all that much. I mean, for a while there, Stitches had the Marketplace Decoration proudly displayed in the corner of his room

Yeah I hought it was pretty sweet too. Lucky didn't display his plate but everyone else who was invited did. I was also happy that you could order their posters through Nook Shopping.

As revealed in another thread, if you do happen to want to get these plates out of your villagers’ houses, you can TT to tomorrow and then TT back to today and they’ll be gone. It worked, but I don’t know for sure if it’s permanent.

I think if anything they will only leave it up while in the same season. I’m TTing villagers out and am in September now, none of the villagers that participated have the plate displayed

I've heard that the item that used to be displayed in the same location as the photo plate won't be displayed anymore. Is this true? Or do the villagers' decor go back to default?

since villagers won’t keep seasonal wreaths up, its unlikely that they’ll keep it on their walls past june.
