I kept talking to him for a few minutes, until he had a thought bubble over his head. Talked to him again and he said this.

I often like doing this with smugs, if you do this with less than three female villagers then your smug will list a guy. I don't seem to get decent dialog from other villagers in that 'thinking mode' they do, jocks will ramble about counting the carbs they burned or something and other villagers just brush you off completely but smugs will provide all the shipping fuel you could want.

Haha, sometimes I really love what smug villagers say when they have the thought bubble! Like CainWolf said I usually see the way that regular/usually snooty or cranky villagers brush you off or act irritated, but smug villagers really do have fun dialogues to read most of the time.. One of the reasons why it's always interesting to talk to Eugene for me, lol
