I am incredibly unlucky with Balloon DIYs...

These mush DIYs are so far the most grindy ones I've seen since the cherry blossom DIYs. At least we have more time to collect them though. The fact that we only had 10 days for the cherry blossom stuff (and for us in Northern Hemisphere it was simultaneous with annoying Bunny Day stuff) is going to make the grindyness of that hard to surpass.

Rounded out the fall collection earlier today with the Colored-leaves flooring. I'm left with the golden shovel, golden net, remaining zodiac recipes, and then all the winter/snow/illuminated varieties.

At least we were able to get Cherry Blossom DIYs out of bottles. I'm almost certain I got one out of a bottle.

If balloons are gonna be the only way to get seasonal DIYs they should be a lot more common, it’s too frustrating getting one DIY out of like every twenty balloons. Just very tedious and not fun, even if my time to play wasn’t so limited.

I kind of cheated and just bought majority of them, since I know I wouldn't have the time to hunt them down for hours ^^;; though I was able to get the remaining I needed through the balloons that spawned while I was terraforming. I think doing a task while hunting them down definitely makes it easier.

Ain't no shame in that. I had to do that with the Mushroom diy because of covid work hours. It's exhausting and I really don't want to use what little time I do have hunting balloons.

I'm still missing one mush diy for Livia and several more on my other characters. I haven't found a single maple leaf diy even though I've been balloon hunting on both of my islands. I mostly get clothes from the balloons.

To be honest, I am getting pretty burnt out from trying to get all these seasonal recipes over the month. Last night, I farmed balloons for less than an hour, got bored, and signed off. If I don't find the Maple Leaf recipes after this weekend, I'll settle for buying them because there are other things I'd rather spend time on.
