Hybrids are flowers and plants that grow when you crossbreed flowers - done by placing two flowers next to each other. The color of the flowers determines the color of the hybrid. If you place flowers on the edge of a tier a flower can grow on the next tier. When you Crossbreed, it is possible to get one of the starting flowers your are crossbreeding. i just read through the link and found...

Jacobs Ladder is a Flower that will ONLY grow when your town has achieved 'Perfect' status. Everyday that your town is 'Perfect', a Jacobs Ladder will grow.

really? today and yesterday my town was perfect status but no jacob's ladder... =*(

http://accf.wikispaces.com/Flowersi just read through the ]I think it's more like every 2-3 days a Jacob's Ladder will appear. I've had a perfect town for 11 or 12 days now, and I think I've got 5 Jacob's Ladders.

They also wilt after only a day or 2 it seems, but watering has been saving mine.

i just read through the ]Indeed. They are quite rare and are almost very hard to get, think of it as one of the rarer golden items.

i just read through the ]I think that they believe that the game acts the same way that it does in WW. If they said that your town was perfect, you got a Jacobs Ladder. I don't know exactly what your chances of getting one in city folk are though. I'll add that to my list of flower research. Your town is decided to be perfect based on a system of points, right? I bet you have to get the maximum amount of points, or a number higher than just perfect, to grow a jacobs ladder.
