Human Personalities

While plot resetting and after some consideration, I've decided to make a list of which human villagers I think have certain personalities. So the OP isn't cramped with images and stuff, I'll put a list under a spoilers tag. What do you think? Do you agree or disagree? If you disagree, how would you set personalities based on humans in the world of Animal Crossing? As you know, there are four personality types for both sexes. They are:

Smug/Normal
Cranky/Snooty
Lazy/Peppy
Jock/Uchi

Spoiler: Human Personalities

Smug/Normal For starters, that's exactly what they are, starters, as in the default appearance in Animal Crossing. The male character also appears to have a smug look on his face.

Lazy/Peppy He bears the appearance of "I don't feel like doing anything right now," while looking like he's had too much caffeine while playing video games. The girl has this cute haircut you'd probably find on a peppy person.

Jock/Uchi I'm putting these together since they seem to have similar appearances and exact hairstyle. The boys are donning a sporty hairstyle. The second boy looks a little aggressive in the face. The girls? Well, they look sisterly if you ask me.

Lazy/Peppy Again, putting these together, but for the reason that they actually look like they fall under a specific category. I look at the first boy and think of him as I would think of Doc, which how he's a bookwork and is considered lazy since no other category works best for him. The girl is really buggy-eyed and I can't really think of any other reason for her spot. The second boy has looks like he came out of a adventure book because of the cute hair and rosy cheeks. You couldn't slip him under cranky, jock, or even smug. He has an innocence about him. Not sure what these have to do with lazy, but for this game, they do. The second girl just screams peppy. I don't think I have to really explain that one.

Indecisive One one hand, the boy's eyes kind of remind me of Punchy's. On the other hand, the girl doesn't look peppy. It's almost like a double feature or something. I'd say the boy is lazy with those stoner eyes. I don't really know.

Smug/Normal The boy almost has an uncanny appearance to the main default one, which is why I threw him into the same spot. The girl sort of looks like the first girl I mentioned with the eyes, but her hair is like the ones I put under uchi. For the sake of placing a male and female variant with each other, I'm going to say she'd be normal.

Jock/Uchi The boy, in my opinion, naturally looks sporty. As for the girl, again, looks sisterly.

Cranky/Snooty Didn't think this one was coming, did you? Maybe you did. The guy looks like a douchebag. The girl, well, I don't think I need to explain.

Lazy/Peppy I'm not really sure how to explain this one. If you disagree, then tell me.

I've been thinking of the same thing, besides the personalities for each face so I kinda agree with you. The one I thought of is using the humans from WW and CF that Nintendo made and add them into the game. The villager from SSB4 looks like a Lazy, that boy that looks a lot like the villager but its wearing a hat looks like a jock, that boy with Thick Glasses looks like a Smug, that girl with anime eyes looks like a peppy, that boy with circle sunny side up face wearing the Paw Tee old school style looks like a lazy, the two boys with purple eyelids, the one wearing the Blue Tie-Dye Tee and the other wearing the Orange Jacket both look crankyish due to their appearance. There are a lot more humans from WW and CF Nintendo made but this is all I got for now.

I have really different opinions on this! I tend to see the stoner eyes as a Lazy/Uchi thing and the ones that have very open, overcaffeinated eyes as more of a Smug or Jock thing for guys. I think "cutesy" eyes are more of a Normal thing since Normals seem to be very sweet and cutesy, in a way, they spend most of their time talking about food and reading. The default guy actually looks more Lazy or Jock to me than Smug, he doesn't look smug to me at all. The last one strikes me as a Smug/Snooty thing because they just look smug, like they're looking down on someone.

The one you put down as Cranky/Snooty is the one I agree on completely, those eyes really make me think of those personality types, or perhaps Smug/Snooty.

interesting! i agree with most of your choices. its a shame we cant have more of a personality, but i dont really mean by looks; i just mean by how we cant really respond to our villagers when they talk like we could in WW :/
