I finally tracked down my original copy of Animal Crossing for the GCN, found a controller, and played it on my Wii just so that I could find the original town tune and make it my town tune in New Leaf. It's so awesome, I love it! It's awesome to hear that tune after so many years haha, I think I'm going to keep it for the entire time that I play New Leaf.
Also, side note, I went through all that trouble just to find out afterward that I could have just googled it.. Oh well, I'm just happy to have that town tune =)
