it's the exact same machine from new leaf. You just scan the code and save it in one of the slots. New from new leaf we now have 120 save slots atleast.

I don't think we can wear clothing designs though :/ QR codes in HHD can only be used as paths, or to refurbish furniture (Pretty sure)

You can wear qr designs whenever you visit a villager. Not whenever you're designing though, because you have to wear your work uniform ^^ yay corporate life.

Thats weird, in like almost all the screenshots I've seen of gameplay in Japan haven't showed any characters wearing QR code designs, where did you see someone wearing a QR code outfit? I must see ;;

You're right, sorry ^^' I haven't seen anyone with QR code outfits, but this looks awesome!
