Hey recently I've gotten all my dreamies, so its time I start decorating my town. I've seen many towns with clovers placed in nice areas and it looks great, but when I try to put my clovers around it doesn't look too nice xD is there some sort of trick to it? Any tips or screenshots are greatly appreciated!
You can dream visit my Cherish town. It's in my sig. I think the clovers turned out really nice. I have them here and there throughout my town, and I made paths with them.
In my main town I mixed up clovers with stepping stone qr codes in little pathways.. it looks pretty cute c: also with mushrooms around the campsite to have more nature look? lol
I've seen people typically use them for paths or borders around stuff. Mainly natural looking things, forest-y type themes are good for incorporating clovers. Placing flowers and clovers together are pretty common. Some people who might not like the qr code paths but also not want dirt paths usually go and line their town with single/double rows of clovers surrounded by bushes or flowers or trees. You could also alternate with clovers and a stone qr code. Those I've seen a lot in zen themed towns. You could also do something like line the qr path with clovers to make a border if the qr path doesn't have one or even if it does.
I love the way they look in a double-wide path, either making up the entirety of the path or replacing alternating squares in a stepping stone or cobblestone type path.
I'm using them in my town (or at least I will be when I get enough) to mark a place where the main path branches off into a lesser-traveled path. Like if you're walking the path to re-tail, there's a smaller path that takes you to a drinking fountain hidden in the bushes.
You can also put them alongside rivers, bordering flowerbeds, or in front of benches/the bus station/entry to buildings, etc. Or like mentioned above, beside trees and stumps
I suggest keeping them to add variety to gardens, decorate tree stumps and pwps, and tiny paths. They don't look good at all when there's a lot of them together (They just do not tile well) which is why a lot of people end up disappointed in the result.
