How to Reset to get "Dream" Town?

If someone would like to reset a town at the beginning to get a different fruit, grass shape, etc..., AFTER arriving to town, do you just quit and restart then and there, or is there a resetting process?

I can't speak from experience, but I'm pretty sure after you investigate your town and it's fruit/positioning you just turn the game off without saving. I don't think it automatically saves it when you get off the train so it's simple

K. I wasn't sure if it saved or not after you get out of the train.
