Okay, you know what? I'm tired of missing opportunities and being turned down by other people just because my town is full. I'm trying to get my last two dreamies and was wondering how to make a villager move out. I've done it before, countless of times, but it's not just working for me this time. I used to be a wiz at villagers moving out, since I used the 'FOOLPROOF Guide to Moving Villagers OUT' thread. I need to get rid of two, of course. Villager A, I was working on, 24/7. She's one of those villagers that at first you wanted, until they plop their house right in front of Re-Tail, and decided that you didn't want her anymore. I'm giving her to another user. However, I've heard that if you befriend the villager enough, they'll ask you to move out more quickly than just ignoring them. I've tried that with her. As a result, I got her pic wayyy too early, earlier than any of my villagers/dreamies. She's the only one that hasn't asked me to move yet, which makes me very frustrated. I've had her for about a month now, and nothing happened. I've TT'd for months today (No joke), and everyone else has asked me to move, except her. There's just a big pile of stress on top of me now...

Not much to say about Villager B. She moved in from someone else's void, but I was alright with that. She's the only uchi villager in my town so far, and I'm using her for more pwp. So far, she's requested me 2/3 of my wanted projects, and after she requests that final pwp, she's out of here! Even she's asking me to move more often than Villager A, despite never getting her pic. Well, sorry for this long thread of mine. Tell me what you guys think!

You can't force a villager to move out. All you can do is keep TTing and hope they'll be the one wanting to move. Befriending/ignoring a certain villager will not increase the chance of them wanting to move out.

Just going to copy what I posted in a similar thread:

"The best way that I've found is to talk to the person the FIRST day they're boxes moving in. Introduce yourself, and then completely ignore their existance forever. Eventually they'll feel unwanted and move out. You can exhaust a chat with a villager to the point of him/her telling you whether a villager is thinking about moving out. I do not do this, but for some people it works.

I've done this twice; each villager took about about a week to move out (which isn't really that long)."

Whether or not this method works may depend on RNG, but it certainly works for me. Although in your case, since it's already months ahead, I'd say just ignore the villagers you want to get rid of and keep time travelling. Best of luck!

So it's purely random in the end?

Also make sure not to totally neglect those villagers. I have even my closest villager request to move out where as some villagers like Spork haven't brought it up at all.
