How to get a new villager out ASAP?!

HELP!

Croque is moving into my town, and I want him out as fast as possible! As of today, just the space-saver rope outline is up, so he'll build his house tomorrow. I unfortunately picked him up from the void from my sister's town.

I've heard of lot of ways to get a new villager to move out quickly, so I need advice to get him out as fast as possible, time travel included! I'm getting Deirdre soon, so I need him out, please help!

I've heard that the best way to do this is to talk to him once and never talk to him again, and he will be more likely to move out (he won't ping you about this though as you won't have a good friendship with you). What works for me is to talk to them once and never again. Then time travel. Hopefully you get them out. good Luck!
