How to bring golden/silver tools to Tortimer Island?

I really want to use the most premium tools in Tortimer Island, tell me how! The only tools available in the island are rental but they are very basic tools. Can you bring me some premium tools to the island, please?

You can't. Kapp'n takes your items whenever you board his ship to the Island. The only one you can get there is the Silver Axe, and that's only because they sell them at the Island Shop.

Sure, I guess you can hack them in. There is no way to get them legitimately however.

Do you have access to your mail on the island? I'll have to check that, because if so, that's a great idea. I was so disappointed to get the silver and gold tools and not be able to use them on the island. The island is practically the only place I do any fishing or bug catching so the tools feel useless if I can't take them with me.

I just went to the Island to check this. Your letter slot does not appear during your trip, meaning there is no way to smuggle them in legitimately.

Honestly you don't need the silver tools on the island anyway. It's not like they actually do anythin special.

If you really wanted to waste medals, you could buy the silver axe that Grams sells, chop down some trees, and before it breaks put it in the outbox. Then once you go back to town DO NOT take it out. Keep it in there so everytime you go to the island, it's in there.

I don't know if this is right at all, but I have a foggy memory of accidentally glitching the game and swapping an item for a fish in the storage box. It probably won't work, but it's a hope.

The only thing you can bring to the island are your clothes and flowers. I’m afraid anything else will have to be a hacker’s job.
