How the heck do people make so much Bells?

Sigh, I've been looking at some of the stuff that you can sell, trade , etc... and people offer so much Bells!
How do they do it?? D: several mill.... is a lot

If I'm lucky I can make 200,000 a day from visiting the Island once and selling all the fruit thats available

Stalk Market, for me. I try to make about five million a week with it, sometimes a little more. Lots of profit for little work that gives me time to do errands for villagers and shop lots.

I've never bought or sold turnips and I love comfortably in game. Yesterday I bought 2 carnations for 125k apiece. Through TTing, I now have 27. Boom, profit.

If you have a popular villager you aren't attached to, sell them! Last save file, I sold Rosie for 20mil.

Island is 250-300k per one trip for me, more if I don't get goliath beetles.

I used to make like 300k-400k going to the island around 8pm. I also had so much stuff in my inventory I never used I opened up a thread listing the items, including my perfect apples and hybrids and made a million or two from that.

Stalk Market. Made 4 million on a C closet full when I went to a town that had turnips selling at 649.

Going to the Island is just too frustrating for me. The instant the bug comes on the screen, it flies away. Every time I try to catch sharks I get ocean sunfish or I hit A in a panic and the shark swims away.

But yesterday I made about 300k bells by catching like 5 golden stag beetles and a million horned atlases

edit; I never knew turnips were so valuable. Joan was selling them for 107 bells though so I didn't buy a single one today :|

Beetle/shark hunting + bell boom ordinance. I can make ~450,000 bells in 30 - 40 minutes.
