So I just lost Kabuki and was wondering if you guys had any ideas on who would be an excellent replacement to fill the emptiness in my heart. (Doesn't have to be cranky)
However, ive seen pictures of kabuki in other towns and I just miss him! </3

Or should I tough it out and cycle through 16 villagers?? The only reason why I'm leaning away from the 16 villager cycle is because I would only need one more dreamie and lastly kabuki. I'm pretty busy nowadays so it may be a slow process but I also want to start developing my town. How long does it take on average to cycle through 16 villagers??

(In my town i have papi, diana, naomi, stitches, mira, chevre, marshal, fauna, cookie, and beau. I am letting papi and naomi go to have kabuki and bob be my last dreamies.)

I usually go for not cycling 16 because I usually just don't have the time and don't really enjoy the game when I stress like that. I'm not sure what kinds of villagers you like, but the ones you have seem to be on the cute side and you won't have a jock or cranky so I'll recommend Poncho (the only jock cute enough for me to like the dialogue), Tom (another cranky kitty) or Static (cranky and pastel coloured to match your other villagers). i've been doing the 16 villager cycle with 5(!!) villagers. but all of them except one were really really close to each other so it was more like maybe a 20 villager cycle. It's not fun at all, but i havent really started for real in my town yet so i dont mind..

hmm what about genji, he's got the same kind of aesthetics as kabuki does !! otherwise i'd recomend you getting a species you haven't had in your town yet that you think seems cute :>

Static is a pretty cute cranky. He was fun to have in Hearts.

There's also Chief, and he's nice to have around. Or Fang, I liked him in Hearts, too.

Thanks for all of your help! I've decided that i will not do the 16 villager cycle and hopefully kabuki will visit on main sometimes. Static actually is really cute and I think i may give him a try! Tysm!<3 c:
