How old were you before you were allowed to date?

I didn't have my first irl boyfriend until I was 17 (I did go to an all-girls highschool though so that limited my exposure to boys, haha)
I went on one "date" when I was like 15 or something but I told my mum I was hanging out with my friend from school
But I had heaps of MSN crushes loooool

haven't dated, don't want to date, haven't met the person, but i think i was in 8th grade when my parents "let" me even though i really didn't want to date anyone since, i'm a strong, independent woman. so 13 i guess.

I don't think I was ever given a specific age or told I couldn't do it at any point...
My first proper partner wasn't until I was 19. I'd dated a little before then, nothing serious, more kid stuff. I had a 'boyfriend' who would come around here and play computer games and what not. Was about 14 at the time and wasn't massively interested in being with anybody.
Something I found funny....there was a girl in my year group when I was 16 who dated between two boys. For a couple of days a week you would see her holding hands with the one boy, the other 3 she was going round with the other....each to their own and all that

I started dating at 14, he was 18. Got married at 17, he was 25. I was WAY too young. My parents should have never allowed it.

my parent's didn't really set those boundaries with me lol. I had my first bf when I was 12, but they didn't know about him. they were fine when I had my first ~serious~ relationship at 15 but always made us stay downstairs and he was never allowed in my room
