I have a more natural island, so most of my builds are just plants/mushrooms. Early on, my island looked pretty much the same everywhere you went but now I have distinct areas with their own sets of plants and decorations (which I call microbiomes).

I haven't updated it since the summer. My island hasn't changed much though except I have some different villagers and I have less flowers. I may update it once there is snow on the ground.

My second island's dream is never being updated. I saved it as early in the game as I could so the museum and RS are still a tent, I only have 2 villagers, and there is no shop. I love the beginning of the game and I want the dream to be a reminder of it that I can visit with my main island.

I tend to update it the first weekend of every month unless there is no change what so ever. So every couole of changes

depending on how much work I'm doing I'll usually update once a week or every time I make a larger change (redecorating an area, moving something, etc.) I like knowing that anyone who ends up visiting will see my island how I'm currently wanting it to look

I updated it the first day possible, and then I didn't update it for four months. my island hasn't undergone any major changes recently so I haven't felt the need to update it. if I make a larger change, I'd be sure to update it once the project is finished entirely.

I haven't uploaded mine yet. I keep changing my layout. I'll upload it when all of the houses are in place and it's mostly decorated. It's getting close!

Honestly I'm so lazy and haven't really done any major changes to my island thanks to lack of motivation, but I last changed it recently when there was fog and it looked so nice.

I change it whenever I complete a different section of my island or do major changes. Right now my island is a mess but I like to have it up anyways so that people can at least stroll around the completed sections.

I have yet to use the dream suite. I’ll probably use it when my island is five stars and not a huge mess with junk everywhere. Who knows when that’ll be, it’s gonna take a lot of patience and work for me to get there.

Every few majoy changes for me. Usually cause I can't decide on a direction and it takes me so long to build anything. My island is either clean with everything picked up or lots of stuff on the ground for cataloging with friends. Maybe when my catalog is done and I don't care anymore

I uploaded mine once to see what it was about and that's it. I wish we could have up to four dreams saved. I'd love to have one for each season.

I'd rather have dreams for myself to go back and see how it's changed over time but since we can't visit our own dream, I'm not that drawn to use this since my islands aren't showplaces.

Dear Nintendo: please add the ability to visit our own dreams!

Technically, since I have another island, I could have the other character visit the island with the dream and vice versa but I haven't done that yet.

I update every once in awhile. The last time I updated was Thanksgiving. It will be awhile before I update again. Working on parts of my island. I will update again once I’m ready for toy day and figure out how I want my campsite.
