I usually forget, and hit the power button straight away. It's really annoying, especially because I added the Reset Centre (someone take the power button away from me)

How often do you guys remember to save? Do you have something to remind yourself, or do exit the game without saving like me?

I've only started playing ACNH as an adult so I've never seen Resetti and wonder if he's on NH version of Animal Crossing. As a kid and teen, I loved Zelda(still my favorite series) so if I ever lost any progress, it was devastating. I don't forget to save but some games I've saved at a bad place and ended up stuck in a losing cycle. Mostly the turns-based RPGs.

I haven't played ACNH really, except for a few hours on one of my old friend's switches, but apparently he does appear, but he's not as annoying or he autosaves for you, idk.

Animal crossing was my first ever game so it’s deeply ingrained in me to save any game I’m playing before I turn it off 😂 that being said, I expect there were times back in the day that I forgot, but I can’t remember it.
As LambdaDelta said, I’ve deliberately not saved my game before. I miss that to be honest 😂 if I’m terraforming I want to be able to undo it if it all goes wrong.

I've almost always been good at remembering to save my game; the only time I wasn't was when I first started playing Wild World, and I didn't pay attention to/understand the tutorial or the importance of saving because I was 5-7 years old. 😅

I've never forgotten to save my game since. I don't worry about saving as much in New Horizons thanks to the autosave, but I still always save my game when I'm done playing. The only time I didn't was one time after I had gone island hopping for a new villager because I thought the game had autosaved—it hadn't, and my plot ended up being filled by a random villager. I've learnt my lesson LOL

Damn y'all are 10,000 times smarter than me lmao. I was expecting people to forget

I remember most of the time. It would be a lie if I didn't forget sometimes, but I always save a few times mid-session so at least I don't lose too much data. For the most part though, I remember.

I remember to save most of the time (and saving is no longer a problem with the NH auto save) but when I was younger I would reset on purpose :devilish:

I heard a rumor when I was younger that if you reset 100 times in City Folk then Resetti would delete your save and I wanted to see if it was true. I even made another villager just to test this out (the rumor was fake btw).
