I'm pretty optimistic, and don't see any reason why humanity should not be trusted. Yet I do understand people who feel the opposite, so I just chose meh.

True, but that's were things seem to be heading with all the weapons we have ready to kill each other with -_-, true with the good stuff within the bad(Yin Yang), but the bad seems to be taking more hold over the good in this day and age sadly.
There are so many information outlets now that the negative aspects of humanity have been magnified, giving the appearance terrible things are more rampant than ever, but as long as there are progressive thinkers and compassionate people out there, I'll continue to have faith in humanity.

If I could upvote posts it'd be this one definitely.
I have a lot left....I think things are gonna get much worse before they get better, but that just means a heck of a lot more enlightenment from our mistakes. In the long end things will be overall good, I just think we're gonna have to go through a very rocky road to get there..

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME
To be honest I stopped caring about humanity as a whole, I just focus on those I know here and in real life. Life's a little happier that way.

You're one of the very, veeery few names I recognize. So many new folks here, it's really neat to see this place so popular again.
And I can respect your view on the subject, because even if everybody had your mindset- caring for the folks they know personally - humanity would become more worth believing in.
Going down. People are capable of being everything I want them to be, and its not much, but it's never going to happen. Do I think there is a great amount of people who are worth the whole world, and that see the worth in it? Yes. Do I see us ever reaching the point where morally we are all on the right page? No. I don't need or even want everyone to be the same, and to be honest I don't mind conquest all that much if only it wouldn't take down a lot more than necessary now, but there's a base level of moral humanity that we aren't reaching. We are an interesting species at least. Both too judgmental, and too kind, all at the same time. Just not in the right places.
