How long until auto-merge stops??

How long do you have to wait before bumping a thread so it won't take your bumped post and automerge it??
I have waited an hour and an hour and a half and it still auto-merged my bump with my last post ( =__=) I just want to sell my flowersss

4 hours, 2 hours if its in the trading forums, it says so in the rules

i don't know for sure how long it takes, but i know that the general rule is waiting four hours until you bump your thread!
