Walker is moving out today, which means I'll be back to 9 villagers. With 9 villagers, I know a 10th one could come at any time. So how can I just hold this spot until I get one of my dreamies?

You could freeze your town, which means you keep turning the time back to keep your town on the same day.

Turn off spotpass and don't visit your friends who have villagers packed.

Basically don't use wi-fi/Streetpass. Your 10th villager always comes from that or the campsite.

just turn it off right away when you're done. also only visit towns who dont have villagers moving to the void. i have 9 and i have mine off most of the time
