How is uchi pronounced?

I always pronounce it "oo-chee", but I'm not exactly sure if that's the correct pronunciation. Could it be "yoo-chee"? Or maybe "oo-kee"?

I pronounce it ucky as in yucky because I have no clue and it sounds funny and I thought it was called ucki at first

Well, I'm guessing it's a Japanese pronunciation. So it would be "oo-chee".

I started with "oo-chee" because if I don't know how a word is pronounced, I just guess.
Cicadas = "Kickahdahs". (I looked up how to say it and apparently there's more than one way of saying it!)
