How exactly should fertilizer be planted?

If I keep it planted there will it help just the roses? If so is there any more beneficial place to bury it so it helps more than 1 hybrid?

(Also sorry if this belongs in the question thread, I was debating putting it there... D: )

It will help any flowers next to the fertilizer, so the more flowers that are around it the better. In your picture, it will help both the roses and the pansies produce hybrids.

I normally just surround the flowers in fertilizer. I stock up on it and then just, lAY WAY TO ALL OF THE GROUND NEAR THE FLOWERS. Good luck with growing them!

I usually do a little 'star' around the fertilizer and it works great for me. Something like this:

E- empty spot
F- flower
X- fertilizer

E F E
F X F
E F E

I usually have the flowers going in an X formation and on the empty spots around where the flowers are I just put one or a few fertilizers beside the flowers and yeah one hybrid pops up the next day, I think the more fertilizer the higher chance for more hybrids or for rarer kinds to pop out xD

Another question! If i surround the fertilizer with flowers (like in this formation):

FFF
FXF
FFF

F = Flower, X= Fertilizer.

Can flowers grow in the center spot? I mean, the fertilizer disappears by the next day, but can its spot be replaced with new flowers?
