Hello everyone!
Like a lot of other people I am looking for a certain villager but I don't understand how the trading works. How can you "buy" a villager? I'd like to know the rules and stuff before I put a request on the official thread >.< Thanks in advance ^^

Oh, I am new to TBT so I didn't know where I should put this question, I just thought I'd put it here s:

So basically, trading works this way. Say you want to trade your Bam for someone else's Lolly. Whoever has only nine villagers goes and gets the villager first. For example, you have nine villagers. The person with lolly has 10. What you do is you go to their town and talk to Lolly, and then they come to your town and get Bam. For buying, you leave bell bags on the ground and then go talk to the villager

When someone has a villager in boxes, other people can come over to ask them to move to their town. Some people buy villagers because they don't have the patience/luck to get them from the campsite or as a random move in.

Oh, "in boxes" means when they ask you to move, they will give you a date. When you go to that date in your game, their house will no longer have furniture, but boxes. So when villagers are moving in or out, they are "in boxes"

Thank you very much! I've been playing Animal Crossing games for so long and I didn't even know what it meant hahaha.
