How do you trade or sell villagers ?..

Hello every one this might sound like a newbie question and all but I was wondering how do you sell your villagers if some one wants to buy them from and also how do you trade them if some one wants to trade villagers..

I believe you can make your villagers move in order to sell them to others (you can do this several ways, I won't go into it here) and people can buy them or trade them for villagers in their town if they're moving. You just visit the other person's town and ask the packed-up villager to move to your town. They should move in the next day or a couple of days after. That's what I've done previously.
