How do you receive items you ordered from a house you have streetpassed with?

I was so excited yesterday. My first streetpass house showed up in my Happy Home Showcase area. I bought a couple of items that the individual had in their home. They weren't in my mailbox this morning nor was Pelly at my door. I went to the Post Office but they weren't there either. Does anyone know how I get my items that I purchased?

They're supposed to get mailed to you. I'm sure they'll show up eventually..
