How do you make a wish with the meteor shower?

I read that you need to see Wishy or something, I've never heard of this.
Or is this for older AC games?

When it's the night of a meteor shower, starting at 7pm I believe, when a star goes streaking across the screen with accompanying sound effect, press A with NO tools or items in your hands. That's it. If you're unsure whether it worked, you can try it multiple times. You won't get multiple presents though, just one, and it's usually a spotlight item.

Yes. But I like to do a CYA just in case lol.

yes the animation you make is you wishing on a star and then you get the item from wishy in the mail the next day you only get one item, even if you fit other towns that are having meteor showers
