How do you lock your threads?

I don't know how to do that. Can somebody please answer my question? Thanks.

There will be an administration tab up the top of the thread which had a drop down option to close the thread. However users can only lock their own threads in trading boards, if you made a thread in The Basement for example, you wouldn't be able to lock it.
