How do you get the Birthday Furniture?

Is it random? Dependant on relationship with villagers? *Howwwww?*
I know it can be done, I just... cannot find anything about how to, even on Google. D: Help?

you get it by celebrating your own birthday, there’s a special event that happens and you can get one of them per birthday.

I also got the sunglasses from a villager I gave one of my birthday cupcakes to, however I don’t know if it’s only the sunglasses or if you could get the hat or something other than the glasses

The gifts you get are random, you'll get some of the birthday items as a gift iirc

Ahhh. Ok, I kinda thought it had to be random. Just celebrated and got a hat and sunglasses from sharing all the cupcakes. Everything else was junk. LOL
